Thoughts on Enshittification

The Blangsdaus love to eat. And this blog started to chronicle our cooking and eating adventures. But then we started trying to get pregnant and 18 months went by in the blink of an eye. After a total of two and a half years of infertility, two IVFs, and two early losses, we welcomed our gorgeous boy in April 2011. Now we are learning to juggle the baby, two jobs, home ownership, and everything else life throws at us. And we are unexpectedly expecting baby #2 this winter!

Yay!!! Great job! Sounds like the little guy is cluster feeding. Lanolin, here we come :D
My kids were both big breastfeeding fans - so much so that they wouldn't ever take a bottle! That's your NEXT worry! ;-) My sister pointed out that the breast is (a) soft (vs. hard plastic bottle); (b) snuggly (vs. not snuggly!) and (c) smells like mama.
DEFINITELY apply lanolin, even when you think your breasts don't need it! A family friend recommended that to me, and I did it after each feeding for the first month or so with each kid. Avoided all sores, etc.
Congrats on your little guy! He is so beautiful!
